MY PC:
I have recently built my own Hackintosh Gaming PC. Nothing too special so far, but its enough to hold me over until I get a nice GPU; I'm eying the R9 270X for a nice price-to-performance ratio.
My PC Specs:
- Gigabyte Z97M-DS3H
- ThermalTake 550W PSU
- Intel Core i3 4360
- PNY 1333MHz (2x4) 8 GB Memory
- Seagate 1TB Barracuda Hard drive 7200RPM
- Kingston SSD V300 Now 120GB
- WD 250GB HDD
- A generic old DVD drive from an older computer
- TP-Link TL-WDN4800 PCI-e Wifi 450Mb/s card
- ULTRA Defender II Case
Peripherals:
- SteelSeries Siberia Gaming headset in red
- AULA gaming keyboard backlit in Red, Blue, and purple
- Zelotes Optical Gaming mouse 5500 DPi
- Logitech C525 Webcam
- Some older dell speakers
- Vizio Smart HD TV 23.5" used for a monitor
- An apple sticker on the side panel case window(for a nice Hackintosh touch :> )
- IOGear Bluetooth 4.0 USB
Setup I have going on my rig:
I currently have a dual boot between Windows 8.1 and Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 with the latest updates on each OS. I used Clover UEFI bootloader to achieve this. Mac OS X is kept on the 120GB Solid State Drive and Windows is kept on the 1,000 GB hard drive. I use mostly Mac OS X as my daily OS, but windows for gaming. The 250GB is partitioned as a 2 part drive. 125GB dedicated to backup my Mac OS X Hackintosh installation, while the other 125GB is formatted in ExFat for shared storage between the two OS's. Mostly Spotify Local music. Here, some pictures about my setup in my room. Keep in mind, its not exactly new or clean so disregard nasty lighting of my room. The walls need painting, i need a new desk and I need some better origination of cables in the back for all my hooked up peripherals and such, but yeah. lol I have like no money pretty much right now, so deal with my humble battle station. :U
