For the sake of the conversation, lets just say too much pressure is building up at the core of the Earth and we found out it'll cause the Earth to explode in 1 5 or 10 years (you pick).
I'm fully aware that this probably isn't possible, but it's a what if topic.

This is likely how it will all end:
A nearby black hole is becoming unstable... and we will be shot by a energy beam. (if a black hole obsorbs enuph matter, it would shoot a HUGE and POWERFULL laser of PURE ENERGY!)
