The Vita isn't all M games, it has plenty of T games.(Uncharted, UM vs Capcom 3, etc)
It also completely pwns the 3DS in the graphics department, and the analogs beat the circle pad by a longshot. M games isn't something to complain about either, ratings don't matter, it's the quality of the game that matters.
However, the Vita's camera is just a crappy as the 3DS's camera, and according to IGN, it's even worse.
And honestly the 3DS offers/will offer us Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, Kirby, and Smash bros. The Vita has nothing close. Not only that, but Nintendo Network is supposed to be as good, if not better than PSN. Plus the eshop has more original titles.

It's really classic to start a console war...

But, I think it's just a matter of taste.

In my opinion, the 3DS is more appealing to casual gamers, and the PSVita is more appealing to hardcore gamers.

The 3DS will probably get sold more, because there are more casual gamers nowadays.

But they are both cool systems. The PSVita has amazing graphics, a very clear screen and a powerful processor. The 3DS on the other hand doesn't have graphics as good, but offers 3D gaming.

About the touchscreens: Of course, Sony has done a lot of things Nintendo has done before (I don't think I even have to name them), but I think it's a good thing. The companies "copy" each others ideas, causing fast progress and strong concurrence; and that leads to better systems.

I would say "Stop wining" to the people that fight about game consoles, but that doesn't work anyways, and that way you're only getting involved yourself. So I just ignore it.

Tsk, tsk, you guys.
@Rob-the 3DS has plenty of hardcore games. It has two Resident Evil games, Street Fighter, Splinter Cell, Dead or Alive, and Metal Gear Solid.
The Vita for a Sony system has a good amount of causal games such as Little Deviants, and Little Big Planet.
@Zoomer-Calling the Vita a gimmick is pretty funny, when the 3DS's main selling point(the 3D), is quite the gimmick. And to be honest the design, aside from the Circle Pad, is pretty similar to the DSlite.

@Rob-More causals will go for the Ipod with its 99 cent games.
Some will get a 3DS(Mario), but I'm a hardcore gamer, and I got the 3DS for epic RPG's and Nintendo's 1st party games. Which aren't all causal. Try and tell me with a straight face that Metroid, Zelda, and Smashbros are causal.
