Question to those who have gotten a 3DS XL bundle

For those of you people who have gotten those 3DS XL bundles with a free downloadable game included (ex. White/Blue 3DS XL with Mario Kart 7, or Animal Crossing 3DS XL with Animal Crossing: New Leaf), I was wondering something.

Does the game included come in a download code pamphlet (like the Club Nintendo codes), or does it come pre-installed on the system?

I want to know because a new Zelda XL bundle was just announced. It includes a digital version of A Link Between Worlds, which I only want the physical copy of.

Pre-installed into the system. However, when you do a transfer, the game will be deleted. During the transfer, both eShop accounts will be combined, and then can be re-downloaded for free after the transfer.

But wait...is there some type of way that I can share a downloaded game's memory and a physical game's memory? I mean, can I play the physical copy for half way through the game, then save, and then somehow start playing my digital copy and start out where I left off?

Yes and no.

The data in the cartridge and the digital version of game are completely different. You can transfer your saved data from the cartridge to the digital version of it. Keep in mind that the data on the cartridge will be deleted. If there is any data on the digital version, it will be overwritten during transfer. You can only transfer it ONCE. Once you do that, the data cannot be transfered back to the cartridge.
