Are you one of those people that don't believe that the 3DS can produce better looking games than the Wii? Well, start believing.

The specs
RAM-
3DS has double the RAM the Wii does. 128 vs 64.

Resolution-with the 3D on the 3DS bows to the Wii, but because of the smaller screen it is less noticeable, as opposed to being blown up on an HD TV.

Shaders
-Take a look at Pokdex 3D. Nuff said.

There is much more, but let's take a look at the TRUE evidence.

The games

SSFIV 3D-Hmmm...a 360/PS3 game ported to the 3DS IN 3D with most graphical features intact. Not only that, IT WAS RUSHED. A rushed 3DS game that looks better than 85% of all Wii games? Pinch me.

Sonic Generations-So the 360, PS3, and 3DS get this game, how about the Wii? Nope. Gee, I wonder why?

Resident Evil Mercs 3D-Another rushed, and this time, LAZY game that still looks better than most Wii games.

Resident Evil Revelations-Truly cutting edge graphics here. Unless you examine it very, very closely, you could swear it was a 360 game. The 3DS isn't anywhere near the 360 in raw power, but with effort and visual tricks, some games can appear to almost be on that level. Which far surpasses the Wii.

Mario Kart 7
-Completely crushes Mario Kart Wii. Character models look leagues better, and the tracks have all sorts of graphical flourishes like petals blowing in the wind that were absent in the Wii version.

Kid Icarus Uprising-yeah, yeah, the character models don't look the best, but have you seen the back drops and environments?
I don't see any "daple" effect like the one they used in Skyward Sword to work around the limited graphics.

Monster Hunter Tri G
-Take one of the best looking Wii games, and port it to 3DS. Just that would prove the 3DS is AT LEAST Wii level. But nope, the 3DS version has BETTER lighting, and shadowing, and runs at double the fps. Sorry Ben, but your theory of trading fps for graphics doesn't show here.


Of course some Wii games still beat some 3DS games. Galaxy clearly beats 3D Land, and Skyward Sword crushes OoT3D. For the most part though, the 3DS easily surpasses the Wii in visuals.

I'm not stupid, I know the Wii isn't anywhere near HD. I wasn't attacking you, I was joking! Gawd!
And didn't you see the almost? I know the 360 crushes the 3DS, but using tricks, and not much on the screen they can make it APPEAR ALMOST as good.
