I've heard countless times from "scientists" that the moon has no effect whatsoever on our emotional (or physical) health...
My theory is, if we did a study on half moons, or crescent moons, the studies would show high amounts of something on those nights unlike others...it's just coincidence.

Calling someone "loony" to mean crazy came from the root "luna," which means moon, because a lot of people used to think that staring at a full moon would drive you crazy.
