Hai, Moby here. I'm herr today to announce that I am going to do a series of threads related to science, me using MY knowledge to piece together theories, wheather it's about Space, Air, Even us ourselves. Let's get started, shall we?

This Episode:
We, as humans will never reach speeds of Light.

Why do I say this? Well, doing my research, I found that we can do just that, but can our bodies handle it? No, not with our current tech, we can't. Let me explain why;

G-Force. G, for gravity, has nothing to do with gravity at all. What happens is that your body, your brain to be exact, feels a downward, or upward force, while being moved in the opposite direction, cause of inertia. For example, if we go in a Fighter Jet, and speed to about 500 knots (around 508 mph) and pull straight up, abd keep pulling, you'll black out, because your body THINKS it's heavy, including your blood, therefore not enough blood is pumped through your body.

Example:
BodyWeight = 260lbs
1.0G = 250lbs x 1.0 = 250lbs
5.5G = 250lbs x 5.5 = 250 x 5.5

0.5G = 250lbs x 0.5 = 250lbs/2

You are At 1.0G right now.

In other words, Gs multiply your body weight, not physically, but mentally.

Now, back to light speed, let's say you're at Mach2. That's Speed of sound x 2. (Possible with way more aircraft than you think.) If you pull up from a 10 degree attitude to a 60 degree attitude, you'll black out. Considering that Pulling 14 Gs with no G-Suit, you'll be dead, going the speed of sound, which is...hm...Over Mach 1,000, no questions asked, even WEARING a G-suit, you'll die from pitching up an incline of less than a molehill. And that's just the start of it.

Besides considering THAT type of G force, we also ave volocity/acceoeration G-force, basically inertia. You would have to slowly accelerate to light speeds, which would take close to 30 minutes or so if you don't want your neck snapped by inertia.

So, enough of G force, as confusing as it is. I apologize if I made no sense. Now, here's some thinking time, Wtf is a Lightboom gonna do?
We know what a Sonic Boom is like, Mach Cone, Loud boom, explosion. Done. What if 8n a Lightboom we have some type of large light that expands out? Sound waves are indeed invisible. As for A Sonic Boom. But those waves travel for quite a few miles or so. Light, having a much faster shield, could have an explosion that trvels MILLIONS of miles! Hell, for all I care, it could create a black hole, tear TimeSpace apart, collapse on itself? WHO KNOWS?

Unless StarTrek comes to town, we won't be seeing any light invasions today. Or tommorrow.

Discuss pls.
Oh, when Will you come to me good signature?

All I know is that light speed requires either Infinite energy, or no weight (or was it mass).
I should probably write a new story... but will I finish it?
Anyway, I'm Aaron
THE END
