Pokemon X & Y New E3 Details
DarkHarvest (2013-06-12 02:44:06)I hope they have a different difficulty setting. Like instead of easy normal and hard with a 5 level difference, there could be a rookie(with ten levels lower), standard, champion(with 10 levels higher), and master(10 more levels higher).

Ron1212 (2013-06-12 12:47:56)Something to do after beating the game would be cool.

Nintendo just held their Pokemon X & Y roundtable. Here is a very brief summary on what they talked about during that time.
- New character clothing customization
-Player will be able to choose between 7 different languages(English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, or Korean)
A new PSS (Player Search System)(Similar to C-Gear):
will allow trainers to find other trainers locally or via wifi( Its similar to C-Gear
- It will keep track of people you pass by, friends, Acquaintances( when you interact with a stranger you make them)
- You can now add people you meet randomly to your 3ds friend list from the game.
- New pokemon announced:
-Clauncher (water) *pic below
-In depth description
" The Water Gun Pokemon Clauncher uses its one oversized claw not only to seize prey but also to shoot condensed water at others as a projectile. This capability is so intense that it can crack a boulder! A Water-type Pokemon, Clauncher can also use its giant claw to crush opponents with the powerful Water-type move Crabhammer, which is more likely to land a critical hit. Critical hits against opposing Pokemon will do twice the usual damage."
-Skrelp (Poison-type, and Water-type)*pic below
-In detpth:
"Some would say that the Poison- and Water-type Pokemon Skrelp appears to be nothing more than a rotting piece of kelp, but don't let its appearance fool you. Using its unique look to its benefit, Skrelp pretends to be a piece of seaweed, and when prey wander past it, Skrelp bathes them in poison so they can't struggle when it attacks. Skrelp uses the Poison-type move Sludge Bomb, a move that can leave opposing Pokemon poisoned. A poisoned Pokemon will slowly take damage over the length of a battle."
-Noivern (type not confirmed)
-Talonflame(Fire- and Flying-type)
-In depth description:
"- An evolved form of the recently announced Fletchling, Talonflame, is a Fire- and Flying-type Pokemon that gains a whole new level of speed and firepower. Reaching speeds of up to 310 mph when diving for its prey, Talonflame can attack its foes with devastating kicks while embers spew from its body as it zooms through
the sky. Talonflame knows Brave Bird, one of the strongest Flying-type moves. Use Brave Bird carefully, though, because the incredible strength of this move also does damage to the user."
New Mechanics
Horde Encounters
-They are 5 on one battles in the wild (don't worry battles are balanced)
Sky Battles
-These battles are limited to Pokemon that can levitate and fly
- No more than One save file
-8 Directional Movement
-Online battles will basically be the same as before, but you can now pick which music you want to use for them.
- You can ride Pokemon in areas you need help
-Less "digitized" music
- Price of course will be $39.99
