Apps can easily be made, but a online game cheat would need the ripping of a cartridge, and complicated reverse-engineering. So you probably won't be seeing much of that. (Besides, 3DS Action Replays exist, it won't be much of a difference if an online game cheat is created)

You're getting your thoughts wrong. Yes, there is a 3DS Action Replay, but it's only meant for DS games on the 3DS.

People are so vulnerable when it comes to 'Cheating'. "OMG INFEGFINNNNITE BLUEEF SHEESL IN MARKRAIIO KARTTT 8:TRNGN" That's not the case... it would most likely be something such as removing a ticket STUB located in the 3DS memory that serves as an IOS... if you you remove the STUB and then go to the eShop channel, you basically can download a game for free, because the ticket displays that you have bought it (Because it's either coded or the STUB is removed, I'm usually referring to how it is for the wii using .wad or a .iso). I bet if they did wanted to add cheats into the 3ds, there would be "Ocarina" and you would have to make the .gct file manually.
Dragnet (2013-04-15 02:08:00)Yes, that's basically what's going on. No games themselves have been directly hacked for cheating purposes. This was a test of removing region lock and attempting pirated software use.
