Yeah, it came out in Japan, right?
It's coming out in North America: March 24, 2013.
This is my favorite series.
It's just addicting to me.


The game features Unova pokemon (heavily).
Snivy, Oshawatt, Tepig, Pikachu and Axew are the starters this time.
The game features a 3D art style, making good use of 3DS' capabilities.
Instead of the old 2D sprites, the game has more complex 3D models.
The game uses the camera and the sensors to find round objects and turn them into portals.
It also features Augumented-Reality options, by scanning real-world objects you can unlock additional dungeons.

And yes, there is multiplayer. Only local multiplayer though.
There is a fair amount of downloadable content. Originally priced at 150-300 yen (Though some was free for a limited time), the downloadable content includes various dungeons, of varying difficulty, included with rare pokemon and items, as well as unique challenges.
A big disappointment to some fans (including me), the game only includes 144 pokemon, most of which are from Black(2) and White(2).
A few changes include that hunger is no longer active in the game, except in a few post-game dungeons. There are also now 'Move Levels', a new feature in which skills level up as they are used, extending Power Points(PP), and raising accuracy and power. Also, if a pokemon raises Water Gun to level two for example, all pokemon that can learn Water Gun now have (or will learn) the upgraded version
