Nintendo 3ds D-Pad issue

I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and/or knows a solution to my problem.

So, I turned on my 3ds and the cursor kept moving up as if I was holding the circle pad or d-pad up. I then went to recalibrate my circle pad only to find out that it was perfectly fine.

This only leaves the d-pad. So, If anyone knows a solution, please let me know, thank you.

Other notes, I haven't spilled anything on it nor have I left it anywhere unprotected.

Ok, Thanks for your thoughts, does anyone else have ideas?

Also, the problem has changed a little bit. The D-pad still thinks it's being pressed up, but sometimes it will be fine and the A button doesn't work. They seem to alternate every once in a while.

Your ideas are greatly appreciated. c:

Well of course after using it alot it wears down.

Its either the stick is jammed or something or send it in to nintendo for repairments.
