Nintendo of Japan has announced that on November 1, old 3DS games will be available digitally.

^Finally you get to download these games
Some newer games like Mario Tennis Open will also be available, but sadly third party stuff will have to wait. But looking at this, finally Nintendo is catching up with Microsoft and Sony in purchasing digitally. Since this is coming to Japan, most likely this will be here by December, so lets see how Japan does first.
