Alright, yes, they do. I can't find the formula you were talking about. I think the formula has to do with organizing and using intergers and rational numbers.

They are what distinguish Union and intersection sets. The big U is a union set. The equation is:
A U B
A is the numbers that fall into the A category, as B includes that fall into that one. U is for numbers that fall into none of the categories. The upside down U I don't quite understand. One second...
