I'm making a book series and I already know what I'm going to name each book... I was just wondering one thing, Does a book series need a main title? I was trying to come up with one, But I couldn't... But does it REALLY need it? Or is it an option? For example. Most book series has one main title.

Chronicles of Narnia
Lord Of The Rings
Twilight
And a few others

But some don't, Like Eragon.

So...yeah. Does a book series need a main title?

The Giver series is confusing because of that.

The title of the first book in your series will be your "main title."
