3DS will be still fine in 2014.

Don't get Tekken, it's pretty dull, the movie sucks, 3D doesn't work with online, slow paced, etc.

I would get either BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II or Dead or Alive: Dimensions.

BlazBlue has a better story and more content, but Dead or Alive has online, better graphics, and an easier to grasp fighting system.

BlazBlue is very different, very Japanese oriented, but it's a blast. Both games have framerate issues, Dead or Alive only runs at 60fps in 2D mode, BlazBlue is even worse. But it isn't a huge issue in BlazBlue, because it uses sprites on a 2D plane. Very nice looking sprites, btw. Both have voice acting.
