Introduction
I'm sure most of you have played a Lego Star Wars game at one point of your life. After all, the series is quite popular. So it makes sense that Lucas Arts would make a 3DS version of the newest Lego Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Story
The story in this game is taken from various episodes of season one and two of the Clone Wars TV show. I should warn you, if you have never watched the show you may be quite confused.
Graphics
The graphics in this game are nothing short of beautiful. This game looks identical to the console versions. The 3D effect is amazing; studs appear to fly off the screen, droids heads pop, and a great sense of depth is added. Not to mention there are fully animated 3D cut scenes. This is one of those games where you can not play without the 3D jacked up all the way.

Sound
You will hear typical Star Wars sounds. Droids going "roger, roger," blasters firing, lightsabers humming, along with classic Star Wars music. Nothing overly impressive, but nothing that would affect the game in a negative way.
Gameplay
The gameplay is "fun," but a bit repetitive, and ridiculously easy. Like all Lego Games you have to solve puzzles and destroy obstacles to advance in the game. However this game spoon feeds you so many hints, you would have to be a brain dead chimpanzee to not know what to do. I understand Lego Games are meant to be easy, but this game really pushes it. You also "fight" enemies, but in this game fighting really means mashing Y. Also fighting enemies is not that of an enjoyable experience because, despite the 3DS's hard ware, there are never more than five on screen at once, making an already easy affair even more easy. Another disappointment for me was they took out force attacks like force lighting, and force push that were featured in previous games that added diversity to combat. Some new abilties are featured but they are not very impressive and are not used in combat. Boss battles are almost as easy, some only have three hearts, making it another Y mashing sequence. I also forgot to mention you have unlimited lives, and your only punishment for losing a life is a small stud loss.
Set-up

This game has a decent set up. All the action is on the topscreen, while all your characters are on the touch screen. You can swap characters by tapping them. In flying levels the touch screen becomes a radar map. Also, sometimes to unlock doors and such, you will have to play mini games that require the touchscreen.
Content
All Lego Star Wars games have a lot of in game content, and this game is no exception. Levels are lengthy, being divided into three acts. The main game will take roughly 10 hours. Once you beat that, you will spend many more hours unlocking characters, finding red bricks and mini kits, along other things. Streetpass has also been incorporated into this game. All what it does is earn you studs, but it is nice to know Lucas Arts took the time to make use of the feature. There are also mini games like "droid volleyball" that add even more to the content.

Conclusion
Overall Lego Starwars III is a somewhat fun game with great graphics, and lots of replay value. However it is so easy, even a pre-schooler would have no trouble grasping it. Because of this I would definitely recommend it for younger kids. If you are a huge StarWars/Lego fan I would recommend this, but if you are not, there are many other games out there that I am sure you would enjoy more.

Well 3dsgeneral had the least amount of drama. In my opinion its the forums at its purest, and its kinda of obvious why Robdeprop didn't wipe it. *hint hint* 3DS (3DS)plaza
