Yep.
In Nintendo Direct you can see Nintendo says that there will be New Super Mario Bros 2 for 3DS.
Nintendo also says it will come out in some months.

What do you think
that will be New (<- get it) in New Super Mario Bros 2.

You can't judge a game based on a few screenshots. Seriously.
This is a Super Mario game, we know it's going to be amazing.

No, look at Mario's fingers, they are much smoother. Also the backdrops are real, not pre-rendered.

Getting it, because it's a Mario game!

EDIT: Oh yea, and the only Mario disappointment game for me was New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I got stuck on World 2 and it wasn't as exciting as NSMB DS.
