Recently in Japan the Coro Coro magazine has released some new details about the games Pokemon X & Y

First bit of news is that their were 4 new Pokemon revealed:


Details about the new pokemon here:
-On the far right is Gogoat, a grass-type riding Pokemon 1.7m and 91.0kg, can learn Horn Leech.

-At the bottom is Elikiteru, an electric/normal-type a Generation 'mon that's 0.5m and 6.0kg. There's a new move called Parabola Charge to heal the user while damaging opponents, and it generates electricity using solar rays.

-The bird on the left is Yayakoma, a normal/flying Japanese Robin Pokemon 0.3m and 1.7kg, it can use the Nitro Charge.

-The Panda-type creature at the top is Yancham, a Fighting-type Naughty Pokemon 0.6m and 8.0kg, it has a new moves called the Parting Remark.

Additional Details from the magazine revealed that the region the game will take place in will be called the Karos Region(the region is based on France) The Main city will be called Miare City.


*UPDATE*

The Karos Region will be separated in to 3 different areas. It will feature a Mountain , Central , and Coastal Area.



Lastly Pokemon X & Y will allow trainer customization.

How is it in France? I thought Pokemon wasn't in our world---look at the Poke Earth map on Serebii.

Maybe it's an alternate France.

as far these scans show it looks like it will be very limited to just different hair color to different skin color.

It would be nice if you could get get different clothes and whatnot like Battle Revolution.

Limited cutomization is disappointing, but better than none.

One looks like a deformed Mawile, another a deformed Cubchoo, another a cross between Cobalion and Virizion, and a Pidove with a new color. You call that an ORIGINAL idea? Not saying it's bad, just not original -France
