This shouldn't even be called the staff discussion thread anymore. Rename this to the Final Fantasy discussion thread and put this in Gaming or somewhere 'round there.

Xenoblade had sci-fi elements, but it still had some fantastic ones as well. X is currently the lowest game on my priority list because of it's large amount of sci-fi elements.

Final Fantasy games are mostly fantasy then. XIII is the only predominantly sci-fi game then. VI is steampunk, a subgenre of sci-fi. VII and VIII are dystopian, another subgenre.

All others are fantasy.
