Each person gets a Node activated on their home turf (such as Earth) inside of the Floodgate that allows them to keep their alterations. However, when leaving the home area, they are to have Ano activate Nodes elsewhere to keep their abilities. Only in that jurisdiction.

Let us imagine what Ano looks like. First of all, let it be known that he appears male in late adolescence. His face structure has assumed . The hair on his head sprouts in medium length, black, with an encompassing of the ears so that a soft bulk shapes down to the nape. His hair is kept swept to the left, in a smooth curve.

Ano's appearance shifts depending on certain factors such as light exposure. For example, his hair will seem jet black in bright light while dark navy, if not violet, in dim to shade. His skin will also change color, instantaneously from tanned to bleached white respectively. This is actually more associated with the types of colors in the environment. Low frequencies bring our tanned skin, high frequencies bring out colorless skin.

His eyes also dilate according to light exposure. The perforations in his irises are meant to fully unveil in darkness, as they serve heat sensory. The darker the area, the more his red colorations extend to his perforations.

Aside from what he looks like, there is an exotic array of garments. This style is maintained through his existence as he has casually guised himself as human.

The primary item on Ano is a jumpsuit. It's a very dark navy, millimeter thick, rubber-like, tall collared suit, seemingly smooth in dimness and becoming visibly rougher--almost scale-like in texture and just as shiny--in brighter light. In the back if the suit, an indention runs from the tip of the collar down to abode the waist. A purple, centimeter-thick stripe runs from the heel of the right foot straight up the leg, thigh, waist, back, then back around the shoulder in the same fashion to the toe. When physically constructed, materials in the suit cause kinetic energy to spread over the form, and cause coagulation of matter around the site(s) of impact. The feet are also covered, with a flat hard plate stabilizing the heels and underfoot. There is a sort of clamp, like a wide belt, that edges from his side, around the back and to his other side. It is more solidly colored in dark grey.

For a more personalized look, Ano would don a tight white shirt that seamlessly latches from his torso to the collar. He wears, over this, a slim black fitting tunic. The collar pops up just where it would meet the collar of the shirt. It is lined with gold. Another Gold streak and down from between the left shoulder and neck, right to the end of the tunic where more gold lines the bottom edge. The pants he wears are black, and also very form fitting, there exists seldom any hard crease.

Just a bit more... Well. He should be about 5'8. Relatively built, however he maintains a thin and minimally defined figure. Weight, whenever flesh, should be 130 lbs. AGE?! Let's find that out when we get or interact.

If you think this sucks NOW, let's describe his boots. Let's use this fantastic combat boot as a base. The heel is half as shown in the example. There are no laces. The neck lacks holes, and splits as a V shape (about 25 to 30 degrees) from halfway up. The toe is more flat.

Just a final piece. Ano accessorizes quite a bit. On his right forearm, spanning from the wrist to about half the length, a sleek gauntlet. Centimeter-long spikes extend all around from its surface. On his left thigh, Ano wears two grey belts. One just under the join of his hip, and the other about an inch below.

Well, now we have a vision of Ano... But what we are unaware of is his weapon.
...which is a big Zweihander!

The should be about 33 inches, and the grip should be about seven. That's a whooping forty inches in length!

With-wise, the blame spans 4 inches. The weapon's blade is a two-thirds of a centimeter thick The grip should be about three inches in circumference. The blade is double edged, with a crown at the top that overlaps the span and provides hooks. The blade is also black, pitch black, and doesn't reflect light, as it absorbs all light energy and much heat.

Let's add some detail! The base is only another third of a centimeter thicker, holding the blade neatly. An upward growing spike reaches two inches onto the faces of the blade from the base. The pommel has no design, and the grip is very bare.

Heh. So now we know what his weapon is like. But wait, now we get radical about Ano. You may have noticed "whenever flesh" up there. Yes, correct, Ano isn't always flesh.

Ano isn't ordinarily organic. He, or rather it, is a Spectre. Spectres are ghost-like entities, formed by points of energy that systematically become particles. These evolve to become quantum masses that behave with intelligence, strive, emotion, and perception. They simply evolve from tangled masses of particles to patterns that facilitate consciousness without biological systems. This being said, a Spectre in tangible and may assume any form that it could possibly conceive. They could abuse their makeup to generate surges of energy, surges in natural forces, and so on.

Why would a Spectre transition into being restricted by flesh? There is a simple reason that overcomes the risk of remaining a Spectre.

First of all, the worst thing to a Spectre is to lose stability in their form. Should it sustain too much force damage, the Spectre will somewhat "wobble" and loose form. This is because the conscious itself with not be stable to manifest, and cease to exist.

So to take on a flesh gives the Spectre a safe and efficient environment to act ON. The Spectre isn't resting within the many neurons and points of potential, actually interacting with those points. If the flesh dies off, the Spectre may flee without having to manifest and restore some time later.

On a side note, there exists methods to manifest without dangers of compete destabilization. This will be explored sometime in the future.

Complexity doesn't end here. We will move on to what Ano can actually do.
His primary ability acts as a catalyst for others.

There most prominent of Ano abilities involves the production of smokey particles and apparitions. Like a fire spreads ashes, this "smoke" is a byproduct of Ano's indirect interactions with space-time and therefore does not affect the efficiency of them.

Ano's main ability is that of essentially budding his form into an independent system of particles that can be shaped to do all his bidding. By manufacturing this bud in a unique way, he can use the system to, say, move energy, convey forces, or manipulate matter even at the basic level.

Ano tends to travel as a streak of purple fluff. He dissolves, in a way, cloaking within a cloud of this, and is able to move fluidly however he wishes.

Ano also uses this as a medium to summon weapons or items that he has seemingly caused to vanish. This occurs in two ways: by saving the item in some form or by knowing the exact structure of this item and reproducing it.

He may also use this ability to incapacitate others. By trapping them in a veil of the force, he may interact around and inside of the body to, for instance, disable movement.
