Agreed, but It would have to be a sidebar or something, you wouldn't want to favorite so many that It'll flood the other ones back 5 pages.

I believe in BB systems it is called 'subscribing' to threads, although you get notifications of updates with that. It'd be a sweet addition.

SomeLuigi is changing in 2015.
