I think it's only racist if it's about / impacts actual people in some way, Carlos.

Though they all do look the same 'cause of how..... 'bleh' the anime art industry is anyways. Other than subtle change in face or eyes, you can't tell apart a lot of boys or girls. Even worse is how many cliches anime has for personality, too. It's all sorta predictable.
