Depends on the anime. And what do you mean by "bad"? The content? The quality? Compared to other genres?

I don't know what it is about anime...no matter where it's produced, who it's written by, or which one it is, something about anime always unsettles me.

If you can ignore the weird cultural things like the reaction noises people make, and how weird the voices of the characters are if you don't watch the subbed version, then good anime will be easy for you to come by. Otherwise, to you it'll all be trash.

Most anime's have choppy animation, some have bad voice acting, some have bad plot holes, and some are just "bad". But if I was to form a bit of a quote here for anime & manga "There's a series for everybody, you just gotta find it".

Probably sleeping, probably eating.

Fair warning this will be a long post, But I think the thing with anime is that fans of it are like "OMG ANIME IS THE BEST THING EVER I LOVE SO MANY ANIMES AND I HATE EVERY OTHER TV SHOW/MOVIE AND AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER ARE NOT REAL ANIME BECAUSE THEY AREN'T MADE IN JAPAN ZMOMG I CAN'T WAIT FOR ATTACK ON TITAN SEASON 2" and act like it's star wars meets gone with the wind and any classic disney fairy tale, that's THAT'S what really makes it overrated and also bad. So while I don't hate anime I don't love it ether.

War, what a great distraction from complicated domestic issues.
