SHA512 alone is not salting.
The passwords should be hashed AND salted. Otherwise, those who get hold of the hashes can simply crack or search up the hashes. Very successful for passwords that aren't strong enough (like generic ones such as "apple1" [which believe it or not, the quoted can be found to be used in many database dumps, especially the one from 000webhost]).

Why im creating this thread is a question ain't even I have an answer to. Well I have decided to release Project N to you all. It is currently Pre-A v0.7 so barely any features are available. Alpha v1.0 should however come with the following:
1. Profiles v1.0
2. Security patches (includes SISP v1.0, XSP v1.0 and CISP v1.0)
3. Settings v1.0
4. Logout v1.0 (released)
5. Mail v1.0. (Released)
6. Status v3.0
The Alpha v1.0 should be released by the beginning of December (approx. Time)
