Carthage (2016-10-24 05:22:08)^ See, this nigga knows whats up.
I'm terrible at making up names though :-;

jgirl94 (2016-10-24 05:41:13)Pretty 😮 For a name , how about cel planet ? Like cel shaded 😊Or stained , cuz it looks like a stained glass window 😃 Well sort of 😕
TapRoot0ak (2016-10-24 06:07:28)Carcel. Mixture of Carthage and Cel.
Wait. It means "Jail" in Spanish.
jgirl94 (2016-10-24 06:13:56)@critical idk , it is not my game 😕 Just saying ideas 😛
TwilightWinter (2016-10-24 16:38:30)Very good. I would suggest "Nomadic". Since there are different natural environments in your game. I hope you like it.

Hey there, I'm Enzo.
For the past few months i've been recreating models from a TV show called Code Lyoko, and I started a game using these models based off of the show.
All the models are made by me. Animations are made by a friend of mine that goes by the name of "Awesomdude3" (Not on plaza)
It's gonna have Sonic Heroes styled Fighting / Platforming gameplay with a bit of puzzles. (By heroes I mean switching between multiple characters at any time)
Names:
- Maya (nickname given by Jeremy, during their first meeting, when Aelita didn't know her real name)
- Aelita
Height: 1.43m (4'8)
Age:
- Her real age is higher than 20 (24 is assumed).
- Her physical age is 13.
- Her official age is 13.
Type: Support
- Her first talent is her power of synthesis! Often called Creativity, the name synthesis is rather contradictory! Indeed, though Aelita often uses it to create various objects, she can also use it to make things disappear!
This process allows her to act on the virtual data of Lyoko, and to to change the topography of a Sector! Sometimes we underestimate its importance but uses can be numerous! We can't list everything but she can for example: isolate herself from monsters by creating obstacles, link a footbridge to another to reach a Tower or escape from danger, destroy monsters by making the ground under their legs disappear...
Aelita has shown she is capable of more advanced strategies! She can for instance create a decoy of herself to deceive monsters (episode 21 “Zero Gravity Zoneâ€) and William (episode 86 “Canine Conundrumâ€) or create banisters (to use it with a vehicle like in episode 39 “A Bad Turn†or to send an imprudent Megatank into the Digital Sea like in episode 56 “False Leadâ€). Consequently this power holds immeasurable faculties and must be used, even if it is often of use to just buy time!
We have to underline that Aelita's creations (or deletions) are always short-lived and are deleted sooner or later! Monsters can destroy them if they fire lasers at them!
We can notice that this power's utilization is connected to the environment! Indeed, formed elements perfectly place themselves in the Sector where they are created: sand barrier in the Desert, ice wall in the Ice Sector, overturned trunk in the Forest or rock in the Mountains. Or, Aelita simply has a very pronounced artistic taste!
Initially, Jeremy said that using this power takes off life points. Now, it doesn't seem true anymore!
This power is often used to counter XANA's twisted actions! What else to say? Except that this ability is invoked or at least accompanied by a soft song chanted by Aelita...
- Aelita can also localise towers, even if they are invisible (episode 40 “Attack of the Zombiesâ€), or hidden. It's like a sixth sense or a double sight.
- Her new ability, for the fans' pleasure, is her energy fields. This power has allowed her to become a full combatant. She can generate it from her palms by concentrating. It's hard to know what contact with an energy field causees, except that it isn't painless... Aelita uses this ability to fight against monsters that used to make her flee when she was defenseless! In spite of a reserved beginning, Aelita seems to be comfortable with her power now! Showing her creativity again, she uses it to protect her from laser fire. In episode 56 “False Lead†she has been able to create a point of contact between two energy spheres to block powerful elliptic fire from a Megatank. Even Ulrich and his virtual saber can't do this! This power is also full of promises. It is very powerful: it often accomplishes one-shot kills without touching XANA's eye. The Lyoko Warriors seem to resist better than monsters. William takes several shots in episode 92 “Cold Sweatâ€. But Aelita can also increases her power, as she does in episode 70 “Skidbladnir†when she defeats William with a very big and imposing energy field.
- When Jeremy develops the new outfits, Aelita now can spread retractable wings that she creates thanks to the starry bracelet she wears on her wrist. She can also fly very fast or stay in the air. This power is very useful because she can reach towers more easily, avoid falling into the Digital Sea, or quickly cover great distances without vehicles, fighting against terrestrial or aerial monsters.
- And to keep the best for last: Aelita's most important ability! It's the essence of her status as Lyoko's Guardian: her ability to govern the virtual world! We often talk about the Code Lyoko, but there is also her ability to use the towers' and Carthage's interfaces. Aelita has a very particular status in Lyoko and her greater power is still her ability to deactivate activated towers, even on Replikas. She can also enter another code, a darker and more harmful code called Code XANA. This code causes the immediate destruction of a Sector, if we enter it in a Way Tower...
We can mention that Aelita can also act on Earth's networks, as XANA does.
Name: Odd Della Robbia
Nicknames: Scrawny
Height: 1.43m (4'8)
Age: 13
Type: Ranged
“Laser arrows!†This line is well known to all fans. Indeed, Odd's weapons are arrows that are fired from his gloves that, if aimed well, will spin right into the eye of the target monster. The destructive power of the arrows is inferior to the others' weapons, and we notice in the Prequel that if the arrow isn't well-aimed, the arrow will bounce right off the monster (like the Bloks in “XANA Awakensâ€). Laser arrows are first choice against flying monsters, hard to reach and often with fragile bodies. Odd develops various uses for them. For example, he blows up the Mantas' mines from a distance in the Ice Sector to clear the passage to the tower in episode 45 “Cold Warâ€.
In the beginning, Odd only seemed to have 10 arrows per virtualisation, but since episode 27 “New Orderâ€, Jeremy recharged him up to 10000! And no different in episode 53 “Straight to Heartâ€!
His second weapon is his shield. He makes it appear to protect himself from monster lasers, given that his arrows don't give him any protection, but it doesn't seem that he can sustain it for long, or he sometimes lowers it at the wrong moment. In season 1, we don't see him use it but in the Prequel, he does activate it. Did it take him an entire season to remember the existence of this shield? We're still really curious to know!
His shield is made of a kind of energy that resembles Aelita's energy fields, but is much less resistant than said energy fields. A Manta breaks it in three hits while attacking Odd in episode 74 “I'd Rather Not Talk About Itâ€.
This weapon therefore isn't really for maintaining a constant defence. It's used more often to rapidly counter-attack like in episode 56 “False Leadâ€.
Name: Ulrich Stern
Height: 1.56m (5'1)
Age: 13
Type: Speed/Melee
- Supersprint! This ability allows Ulrich to be one of the fastest of the group. As you can guess by the name, this power enables Ulrich to run at a speed beyond belief, even in a virtual world: it almost equals that of the vehicles! He is so fast that he can sometimes run long distances on vertical surfaces...
This technique is characterised by an immediate acceleration when Ulrich says the world “Supersprintâ€. Then, he crosses great distances so fast that his legs turn invisible, and he can also jump further. In this wake, he leaves a long orange trail that gradually fades away.
It is a unique skill and it is very efficient for tasks such as flash attacks, short missions (such as the activation of the key) or a quick run to save Aelita from the Scyphozoa.
Combined with the next power, it makes Ulrich a first-rate Lyoko Warrior.
- Triplicate: this ability allows Ulrich to split into three!
This power is pretty much unclear compared to the previous one, and the nature of the three clones also raises issues.
The first season does not leave any room for doubt about the fact that two of the three Ulrich are but harmless dolls that can be taken away by a single shot, and whose purpose is solely to create a diversion and protect the real Ulrich, who retains all his skills and aptitudes.
But in the next seasons, Ulrich's mimics do not seem to be mere decoys anymore! In episode 47 “Tip-Top Shapeâ€, each of the samurais fight and destroys monsters: they even pass a Kankrelat to each other like a soccer ball before finishing it off...
According to these facts, we can give a second hypothesis: that Ulrich divides into three instances of “himselfâ€, each one being able to think by himself, feel as only one of them would...
This ability raises other questions, like: “What happens to the clones when the original one is devirtualised? Are life points equally allocated to each clone? Etc.â€
Nonetheless, triplicating remains a key advantage in close combat against foes when there are too many of them, or when they re too powerful... And yet, it turns inefficient against William (Episode 67 “Double Takeâ€).
The effect of this skill can be easily cancelled by the samurai, who just has to shout “Fusionâ€, then all the remaining Ulrichs become one again.
- Triangulate: it seemed appropriate to treat this skill as its own, though it is affiliated with Triplicate...
When Ulrich executes this technique, he stands near a monster – most often, a Blok or a Megatank – and starts running at the highest Supersprint speed. He thus creates an illusion that makes it look like there are three clones of himself surrounding the monster, drawing an equilateral triangle; but actually, there are not three Ulrichs: there is only one, running at full speed on the three sides of the triangle. The monsters do not know which way to turn anymore and get shredded into pieces!
This skill is only efficient in a small range of situations, against monsters like Bloks for example.
Name: Yumi Ishiyama
Height: 1.65m (5'5)
Weight: 50kg (110lbs)
Age: 14
Type: Speed/Ranged
One of Yumi's virtual character's main abilities is her exceptional gymnastic skills! Though this may seem trivial, it really isn't.
The list containing all this skill can do is indeed long! It's obvious that during the course of the episodes, Yumi often executes "handsprings". They allow her to either dodge laser fire from certain monsters, distance herself from them or even pull herself together after a fall, or an impact (episode 35 “The Chips Are Downâ€).
In a way, we can also say that Yumi sometimes creates a diversion as she's distancing herself and the monsters shoot at her in vain!
In certain cases, Yumi is the only one who proves to be capable of outwitting some of XANA's tricks, such as traps or obstacles in Sector 5. So, in episode 29 “Exploration", Yumi manages to reach the end of a passage full of laser beams, which her teammates would never have been able to do!
We also remark that Yumi is the best tightrope-walker of the group, with unequalled balance (supposing that balance exists in the virtual world). She can easily traverse beams in Carthage. She is therefore the ideal candidate for activating the key in Sector 5 when it's in a spot that's difficult to reach (episode 52 “The Keyâ€).
But the virtual Japanese girl's true power is her telekinesis!
This ability allows Yumi to displace all sorts of surrounding elements, Lyoko Warriors and weapons over short or vast distances!
When she uses her gift, Yumi doesn't need to invoke it orally. She must concentrate and for that, she places her index and middle fingers on her temples. She can free one hand, either to take her weapon in case of an attack, or send more power in the direction of her target (episode 40 “Attack of the Zombiesâ€).
As soon as the power begins to take effect, a light white aura radiates around Yumi's body. She cannot break her concentration (very much), nor attack. If this happens, the power's effect is deactivated for a brief instant, although Yumi can immediately activate it again.
The mystery of telekinesis, relative to other powers, is that using it takes its toll on Yumi. Indeed, the Lyoko Warrior often comes out feeling exhausted from what Ulrich calls, in episode 57 “Aelitaâ€, her “telekinesis thingâ€. In episode 21 “Zero Gravity Zoneâ€, Odd talks about Yumi's energy gauge... Perhaps an unknown component in Lyoko combat.
The only other example of this fatigue phenomenon is found in episode 56 “False Lead†after Aelita uses her energy field!
Despite its immense properties, telekinesis doesn't make Yumi invincible; far from it.
The major fault when Yumi is using it, aside from fatigue, is that she is forced to focus on what she is transporting. This leaves her defenceless, an open target for monsters.
On the other hand, telekinesis is a powerful weapon and an infallible shield! Yumi can lift surrounding elements in all the Sectors, such as rocks in the Mountain and Desert, in order to smash monsters or knock them into the Digital Sea (episode 63 “Triple Troubleâ€).
She can defend herself behind a shield made of these components as they spin around her (episode 21 “Zero Gravity Zoneâ€). In other cases, it's possible for her to come to her allies' aid by lifting them, carrying them far away from the Digital Sea, or quite simply return a lost weapon to them (episode 56 “False Leadâ€).
It's therefore a dangerous power for the monsters, but also for Yumi, for whom it is exhausting.
However, after William's Xanafication he breaks the myth and slices through a rock that was coming towards him with his sword (episode 69 “Wreck Roomâ€). Yumi doesn't lose heart however and takes revenge while fighting William in a rocky area in the Desert Replika. Craftily combining her fan-throwing skills and her telekinesis, she throws William to the ground and squashes him under a heavy, rocky column (episode 83 “Hard Luckâ€).
Name: William Dunbar
Height: Around 1.7m (5'7)
Age: 14
Type: Power
William's powers are numerous.
One of his first powers to be shown is levitation. When he does it, he is surrounded by an aura and floats in mid-air, which allowed him to destroy the Core of Lyoko in episode 65 “Final Roundâ€. This power may be the one he uses to make his sword fly towards him in episode 74 “I'd Rather Not Talk About Itâ€.
In episode 67 “Double Takeâ€, he levitates while XANA and Jeremy fight for control over a tower. We could say that, given his position, William was the one mentally taking control of the tower, but given that XANA has already proved that it doesn't need anyone to do this for it, this ability receives a big question mark after it.
Also in episode 65, some fans affirm that he uses Supersprint when he quickly moves behind Ulrich. Despite the pink-purple trail behind him when he moves, nothing can confirm whether it really was a Supersprint that's fast enough to beat a vehicle, as he never uses it again in the series. Maybe it came from him getting Supersmoke.
Let's talk about Supersmoke!
Of all the powers in the series, it's the one that has the most uses. It has offensive, defensive, strategic and ballistic capabilities (yes, yes!): Supersmoke allows William to change himself and his weapon into black smoke at any moment, or manipulate small clouds of it.
From an offensive point of view, William uses it to throw the heroes to the ground (episode 68 “Opening Actâ€) and knock them out by throwing a powerful ball of smoke into the target. Ideal for grounding a vehicle, Aelita is the main victim of it (episode 69 “Wreck Roomâ€). Almost always used on Aelita, the smoke can also take control of a body (preferably inanimate) to move it. This allows William to transport Aelita in order to throw her into the Digital Sea and make Franz Hopper appear (from episode 66 “William Returns†until later on). In episode 85 “Kadic Bombshellâ€, William even uses this ability to throw Aelita against rocks in the Mountain Sector to ensure she doesn't escape.
William can turn himself into smoke. Flying in the form of a cloudy ball, he is able to cover great distances in a short time... A very useful ability as XANA's Lieutenant has a very full schedule. This even allows him to race ahead of vehicles or Aelita when she is in flight (episode 84 “Guided Missileâ€) and can then catch her before she reaches a tower.
William also uses it strategically: Supersmoke regularly allows him to save himself from a fall, especially one into the Digital Sea. In combat, he often uses it to get out of difficult situations by dodging, then reappearing behind the heroes and surprising them.
He also uses Supersmoke to propel himself and deliver a powerful blow with his sword by reappearing in mid-air (episode 89 “Music to Soothe the Savage Beastâ€).
Finally, his sword can also turn to smoke. This allows William to make it appear whenever he needs it and not be slowed down by having to carry it. He regularly makes it disappear and reappear when it has gotten stuck somewhere, which happens often given the sword's weight and the strength of its user...
In episode 78 “Lab Ratâ€, William uses Supersmoke in order to destroy Yumi's fans.
We finally note that William takes refuge in the Digital Sea in the form of Supersmoke.
Aside from Supersmoke, William has two other offensive abilities:
The first is the power to charge a destructive wave of energy in his sword that he throws at the target in a quick and powerful movement. This power is devastating and combines the two elements of a perfect attack: it is fast and deadly. A single hit is enough to devirtualise a Lyoko Warrior or their vehicle. The heroes pay the price and the element of surprise combined with this attack makes them all end up flattened during their first confrontation with William in episode 65. Until later in the series, the heroes are incapable of fighting back against this attack. Being hit just once from in front or from behind results in devirtualisation. Ulrich tries to parry it in episode 65 but finds himself unarmed due to the violence of the impact. Like with Megatank lasers, only Aelita's energy field can counter it.
The only other option is to avoid it, but as we've said, the shockwave is very fast.
The second is his colossal strength. It allows him to use his imposing equipment (see the next box) to its maximum potential without any difficulty. A primary example is that he had enough power in episode 69 “Wreck Room†to smash a rock to pieces when Yumi threw it towards him with telekinesis.
Thanks to this power, he can also combine close combat with his own fighting style when he duels with a hero. This is notably useful when he finds himself disarmed. We see this strength in episode 92 “Cold Sweat†during William's Teleportation. He KO's Odd (also Teleported) with one powerful kick, although the Teleported heroes have physical abilities that are far above average.
We also note his incredible jump from the top to the bottom of the Core Room during episode 65: although the heroes had already lost life points from less high jumps in the past, William doesn't lose any and leaves a deep cater where he landed.
Like Aelita, William seems to have a sort of second sight on Lyoko. We clearly see this power in episode 68 “Opening Act†when, after defeating Yumi, he manages to see Aelita in his mind's eye, despite her being very far away from him. We can suppose that he uses it at other times, like when he immediately gets rid of the real Ulrich in episode 67 “Double Take†when he uses Triplicate.
There is an important question to answer: are all these the powers of the real William when virtualised; did he have them when he was still on the side of good? Or were they all given to him by XANA?
It's probable that he possessed some of these powers from the start, like the other Lyoko Warriors, but that we didn't see him on screen long enough to find out. On the other hand, XANA surely must have given him extra powers, such as the shockwaves that have already been used by other virtual envelopes possessed by XANA.
Otherwise, while under XANA's control, William became a sort of guardian of the Replikas in the same way that Aelita is the Guardian of Lyoko. When William connects to a Replika tower under Jeremy's control, he can enter the Code XANA. When this happens, the code immediately places the tower under XANA's control. This de-anchors the Skid from the tower and aborts any Teleportations currently being done through the ship (episode 78 “Lab Ratâ€).
William's last known ability doesn't have any link with fighting.
When he is defeated and, in appearance, devirtualised, William doesn't rematerialise. He transforms into red and black smoke and disappears, but remains in digital form. According to questions answered by the writers during the advance screening of season 4, he returns to the Digital Sea.
William doesn't have a vehicle on Lyoko or the Replikas because the possibilities offered by Supersmoke largely surpass any vehicles' in a number of ways.
William nevertheless often rides a Black Manta given to him by XANA. This Manta only gives William the ability to participate in aerial combat without being confined to the ground. His aide doesn't seem too important, as it doesn't appear to be any stronger than regular Mantas.
On the Network, William pilots a vessel called the Rorkal. It looks like a cross between a Navskid and the Skidbladnir itself, and allows William to block the heroes' way, side-by-side with undersea monsters. Larger and more imposing than the Navskids, the Rorkal also fires torpedoes. It can evolve autonomously. Once destroyed, it later reappears. Its destruction doesn't seem to affect William... Which is logical seeing as the XANA Warrior seeks refuge in the Digital Sea when he is defeated on Lyoko, or when a Replika is destroyed.
Note: The name “Rorkal†has never been said in the series and is only known through (French) documents produced by Moonscoop, especially communication documents on season 4. “Rorkal†comes from the French word for whale.
When it comes to equipment, XANA has doted on its soldier.
XANA-William still has his giant sword, redecorated à la XANA. As explained above, it is able to send out shockwaves and change into Supersmoke. William handles it firmly: almost all its blows are fatal, with but a few exceptions (like Odd in episode 73 “Replikaâ€). William even throws it sometimes (episode 86 “Canine Conundrumâ€), however the sword's heavy weight and its lack of manoeuvrability restrain its use in this way: it often sticks into objects or the ground and is hard to pull back out. Also, even when losing the fight, the heroes and especially the svelte Yumi always gain a lot of time by dodging William's blows.
In episode 80 “Dog Day Afternoonâ€, when the sword is hit in the eye of XANA with an energy field, it seems to absorb the sphere and then William sends back a wave of energy that's the same colour as energy fields, throwing Aelita towards the Digital Sea. A unique use that remains a quite mysterious situation.
William also has a protective armband that allows him to block any form of attack.
Combined with William's amazing strength, the sword and the armband make him the best virtual warrior in terms of brute force. However, William's most important aptitude remains his excellent combat technique. Even if he's outnumbered, he can get rid of the group all by himself, and has only lost a few duels.
Just a warning, i'm not here to explain Code Lyoko's story to you. In order to understand most of this game you'll need to watch the show.
Comment with your feedback and thoughts, and a name idea. I still have no idea what to name this game.
