Is 3DSPlaza really for kids?
TheIronMadden (2016-08-26 02:48:58)I don't think so. Most people, as you said, are teens/adults on this site anyways, and it really is just pussifying everyone by restricting what we say or submit to the site, especially with certain words not even being censored out (I'm referring to the N-Word).
While I don't think this place should be considered a "kid's website," I'll still need to slap the NSFW label on this despite YouTube not age-restricting this magical moment. This post will determine if anyone takes the site seriously anymore. show

You won't see me here, but you might find me if you look in the right places.
Initially it was. Although, the community changed ever since the server crash and the fact that the site is not really getting updates that enhances the user experience further.
These days, Plaza has restrictions that don't really fit with what the community is as of now. The system isn't that great either.
For example, some things posted in the forums wouldn't even be allowed in the chats.
Sure, there are mostly teenagers to adults using this site but there are still kids and there is no note to the user before they register stating that there is an age restriction due to the potential content they could come across that would be accepted within the communuty guidelines (well, that and what rules the staff would be relaxed with and so might be let through).
You could talk to Rob about dropping or altering some rules if you want. After all, the community manager will go with what rules Rob has set and will stick with the changes.

Boo (2016-08-26 15:21:17)Oh hey, the umpteenth time this thread has been made.
Plaza was made for kids, but eventually mostly teenagers started coming on it until it became rare for an actual child to come on here, and along as that the rules aren't strict when it comes to being child friendly. Most of the rules are to provide a welcoming and safe for work environment. Only the bigger cuss words are censored.
oof
SMOGamerX (2016-08-28 01:39:33)Yeah but there can be other ways to say things negatively without cussing. The only think I could think of that they should censor is the other word of nigga and maybe the word C**t

Amatsuki (2016-08-28 21:20:03)Plaza is like nintendo costumers, most are not even kids but they keep the same rules knowing this to appeal to everyone.
Probably sleeping, probably eating.
^^^^ no. you clearly don't get how it's way different than the 'n' word though.
