When I was younger I used this website a lot, and was very active. One of my favorite aspects of the site was the ability to incorporate (as in copy and past) "codes" into your profile to make it unique. Many years later that interest was sparked again, but this time I've decided to do something.

I'm taking the "Learn Python The Hard Way" online course, and I'm enjoying it a lot, but once I finish it I'm not sure what to do next. Any advice from someone who was once in my position?

Well to really push yourself see if you can make an app that pulls data from an API (I provide a completely free API at http://sorcerertech.pcriot.com/quoted ) and format it in a nice way.

HINTS:
You'll need to import urllib. Here are all the forms of said library, import each one until you find one that works:
urllib.request
urllib2
urllib (tends to be older versions, the above 2 are prefered.)

Oh, you may need JSON too.
