So my name is actually Drake Parker and pretty much my whole life has been

"Hey do you have a brother named Josh lol"
"Hey when's the next Drake and Josh episode coming out lol"
"Hey Drake I like your new album can I have your autograph lol"

I used to hate my IRL name, frankly; I always felt 'John' or 'Jonathan' would have been a much better fit than the one I got (which I got teased for much of my life, and which half the population of my hometown couldn't even pronounce because they were... ahem... undocumented citizens, with no concept of the English language).

However, by the time I turned 18 and had the opportunity to change it, I had already gotten used to it; and by the time Jgirl94 convinced me to take Her last name, I realised my name fit Hers a bit better than John or Jonathan. So I still kept it, to this day. ~~Still not saying it on this site again, tho; God forbid you all start calling me~~ yeah, no.

I don't know why my parents gave me this ghetto ass name
My little brothers and literally my entire family on both my parents' sides all have nice names like "Nadine" or "Ashley."

I don't even go by my first name. I go by middle name which isn't much better tbh. Atleast it's not a "quana" or "isha" or something.

And teachers like to pretend they can't pronounce it although it's super easy and spelled how it sounds so like..?

Other than that, I don't really get crap for it. No one really calls me by it unless they're trying to irk me. I'm probably getting it changed. My parents want me too.
