Me and ZarktyArk at first was making this as an alternative if Plaza was to die...But then Node helped us realize that it was quite dumb. But instead we converted it to 3DSPlaza on another format. Here is how to join.


How to join; First download and install on your PC or Mac Teamspeak 3. Teamspeak Download.

2. After installing go to Connections and type or Copy and paste in this IP address; ts12.freets3.net:10252 And enter the name you wish to be identified as.

3. Join a chat of your choice and have fun with others with Voice chat, Text chat, And even making your open temporary private chatrooms!


Basic Rules; Even though they are listed in the Channel/Chatroom descriptions here are the main rules; Please be appropriate. You don't have to be a saint, Just don't be reciting 50 Shades Of Lyrin or something.

Be civil with others.

Do not beg for moderator or staff.



How to apply for staff; Simply right out a form with this format below and either i or ZarktyArk will review over it;

Age;



Time Zone;


Qualifications;


Date that you joined plaza (Don't lie, We will check);

Out of all the other qualified applicants what makes you stand out?;

@Gumball Not just Minecraft players use this program, Pro gaming teams such as Fnatic use it during matches, As do Garry's mod and other gaming communitys use it as well. And we are using it since it is an easy platform to use and it has many functionality's that Plaza does not have.

Teamspeak is only useful for minecraft servers. Anybody who hosts a ing teamspeak server for Garrys mod needs to kill themselves immediately, because Garry's mod has voice chat.

"B-But Levi! Its more private on teamspeak!"
There is also the ability to make private group chats with voice in steam, no need for external clients like teamspeak.

@Leviathan Yes, I understand what you are saying. But for the Garry's Mod DarkRP server i moderated on it was essential for new players who did not know staff member's steam name, Whom needed staff assistance. And sometimes steam chat can be quite buggy at times and there is a apparent delay in speech half of the time. So i hope you understand.

I somehow doubt this entirely because 100% of darkRP servers have the ability to get staff assistance by putting "@" in front of your message.

Most of are staff are indeed daft and i believe most to be legally blind. Usually it takes nearly ten or more minutes for an admin to respond. And other times staff are off doing other stuff and leave the server unsupervised. That why we made such a channel in teamspeak to contact them faster and more efficiently.

There are plenty of games that don't have in-game voice chat. Apps like Teamspeak or Discord offer more convenience compared to Steam or Skype where you need an invite for group chats.
In some of the MMO's I play, I've been in guilds that use Teamspeak and I really enjoy it because I can pop in and out whenever I want without having to bother anyone to add me to the chat...also, I like the indicators of who's currently speaking; something Steam doesn't have and Skype isn't always very clear about.

I'm not sure what's up with the TS criticism anyway. We're not trying to play Minecraft or Steam games...or any games at all o.o It's just a voice chat for Plaza users who can pop in whenever they want, basically...and it's a pretty good app for that purpose.

I dare say having a Discord is more advantageous.
It's free, has bot support, has a better overlay than TS3. Management of channels is easy, too.
