Only problem I've had with Windows 10 so far was on my old laptop (in the preview days) where it did corrupt everything. But on my new PC it's been fine.

Much as I hate Windows 8, 8.1 is OK enough that I don't want to upgrade the OS till I actually upgrade my PC. Which won't be for another few years, in all likelihood.

I've got a Toshiba laptop with 4 gigs of RAM, a 2.5 GhZ quad-core processor, and... a half-full 500 GB hard drive. I bought it nearly three years ago for about $300, so I already know I'm well behind the curve, but it suits most of my needs pretty well.

Got another computer working.

It's got an AMD Athlon XP 2800+ @ ~1.8GHz, 512MB of DDR RAM, two 120GB hard drives in RAID1, a nVidia NV5 Riva TNT2 Pro 64, a 420W power supply. Not to mention it's got two 10/100 Ethernet controllers. It's all on a Shuttle AK32A V2.1 motherboard. Not much, but I only use it for hosting a website on Linux Mint.

I've also got a computer with an AMD K6, but let's not mention that.
