Gerem is a resident of the Sky Empire before Eggman took Ucano's place and established laws that Gerem and the inhabitants of the empire rebeled against Gerem met Sonic and worked with him to try to save the empire before Eggman took over and hacked into the main PC of the empire and allowed him to become an oil-like substance to destroy the South Lakes but Sonic stopped him leaving Gerem and Ucano to believe Sonic died attempting to save the empire and fixed a statue in his honor.

 It had been 2 years since "the accident" and Ucano found a way to clear the empire's central computer data possibly getting rid of the virus Eggman left on the computer and asks Gerem to help with repairs explaining if they do it correctly the sky empire may have the ability to fly once more. Gerem agrees to help and the "Sky Empire Restoration Project" began
Ucano also happened to have found the scattered parts of EGGATS-2013 and built a new guard robot based on that model which was named a century ahead of it's time as SKYEMP-2016 to guard the empire while repairs were being done he found a chaos emerald and installed it in the robot after a worker spilled water on it however it began to short out and warp not only time but dimensions SKYEMP-2016 then warped Gerem a century in the future to 2016 where gerem finds a red ladybug who seems to recognize Gerem after a while gerem recognizes the bug as Rodolina and she seems a bit concerned as to how he'd gotten there gerem explains from where she most likely doesn't remember only for Rodolina to cut him off and tell him Sonic never died and that he's still alive as well that he shouldn't be in this time period and should return but Gerem doesn't know how thus Rodolina and Gerem set off to find Sonic so they can send Gerem back to 1916

 Tyler is a earthling hedgehog who liked to hang out with his friend Amanda both stood up for each other when needed Tyler  never told his parents about his childhood but did tell his friend, eventually he became more and more depressed as 7014 continued and people were more violent than ever he was also troubbled about his past and he wanted to live freely but as he had multiple failures and much stress he also began to dislike his classmates as they had a bad philosophy "be better than someone else" and deemed themselves cool due to that he was convinced by his inner darkness he was the same way and wanted to change but Vyle wasn't going to let him do that as he wanted to see Tyler suffer and also die thus totured him mentally balaming him for multiple aspects of his childhood including his abuse and critizizing his loved ones even the life tyler wanted and actively through multiple events  stopped tyler from doing things he had to and told him the way he's going life has nothing for him, but Tyler refused to and tried providing rebuttals but Vyle saw through them one day when Tyler and Amanda were walking to school Vyle had as much energy he needed to make a physical form and wated no time splitting from Tyler as Tyler began to glow darkened colors and struggled to keep Vyle from splitting everyone noticed Tyler's dark glow Tyler felt as if gravity was 19x normal he was at the ground Amanda reached for Tyler but as she did the blackend glow began to turn red and she was held back by the crowd as someone began to call for the police as Amanda was forced to watch she grew more and more angry by the thought she couldn't help Tyler the crowd continued to hold her back but she continued to move towards Tyler as the crowd pulled back on her arms she became even ore angry eventually her hands warmed to heat unimagineable as she screamed desprately as someone came to take the hedgehog Tyler then took out the Earth Stone he had and someone tackled him in an attempt to get the earth stone assuming Tyler would do some damage when he was intending to warp with it eventually resorting to physically harming Tyler to get the gem and when he did just that Amanda snaped her rage at seeing her freind hurt by a random person burned so much her hands lit on fire! the crowd could no longer hold back and she walked towards her friend to help him she walked up to the person who was trying to get the emerald Tyler used this to begint o warp out of there but Amanda noticed and grabbed Tyler's arm just as the warp had completed causing both to dissapear where the two landed on a different planet both unconssious Amanda eventually woke up in a strange lab of some sort being greeted by a orange two tailed fox who breathed a sigh of relief Amanda had no idea where she was or even where Tyler was she asked the two tailed fox his name "Oh! I'm sorry how rude of me! My name is Miles Prower but you can call me Tails."she then asked if  they had seen another hedgehog around and gave a description of the hedgehog Tails replied "Not that we've seen we saw one similar to that but it wasn't white it was a black one"
Amanda knew what happened and stated they had to find him right away before it was too late
Meanwhile Tyler had awoke outside to see the sky nearly pitch-black but no stars could be seen he looked out and saw a masive city destroyed thousands lying in their final resting place "Who- Who did this?" Tyler rushed off to solve the mystery but he had a nagging feeling in his mind he knew, it was Vyle
