There once was a family living in a small house in the hills of Kentucky. There were two small kids, a boy and a girl. The boy was named Isaac and the girl's name was Isabelle Isabelle wanted to play in the woods, but she wasn't allowed to go in the woods alone. Isaac went with her. They were playing tag when Isabelle tripped over what seemed to be a rock. Isaac looked closely at the strange stone on the ground. He picked it up and dropped it immediately. It was a human skull. He looked at Isabelle who was staring up at the tree beside them. He looked up and saw an old rope tied to the biggest branch. He looked around the tree to see if the rest of the body was here, but it wasn't.
He kept walking farther and farther away from the tree. Isabelle was still staring at the rope.She then looked beside her and noticed that her brother had left her all alone. She decided to climb the tree, and scare him whenever he would come back. Isaac realized that Isabelle wasn't with him,so he panicked and ran back to the tree. He didn't see her, so he ran back home to get their parents. They came back to the tree an hour later, and isabelle was there hanging three feet off the ground. The tree had something carved on it. It was a list of names, and Isabelle's was on the bottom.Her name was different than the others.
Hers was new. She wasn't old enough to even spell, and the carved name looked like it was carved by a skilled wood worker. No one knew if this was a murder or an accidental suicide, and no one knew how it happened.Isaac walked back in the woods the next day to try to find the hanging tree. He found the tree, but the rope was gone. The list of names were all gone. All except Isabelle's. He looked around In the woods and found a trail of footprints in the mud. He decided to follow them, and they lead him to an old shack. He opened the door and saw human bones everywhere. He saw blood, and a small teddy bear. Isabelle's bear to be exact. He turned around and the door shut. He tried to open it but it was locked on the inside. He looked out the window and saw a man in his late 30s he poured gasoline on the building and lit it. He tried to escape but it was no use. Then he looked out the window again and there was Isabelle. Sitting by the same tree that took her life.
