So there was this night. I was dreaming I was living at my grandfathers house with my mother and father. Somebody broke into the house in the middle of the night, and killed my father while he was trying to repel the burgler. I went over and woke my mother up to tell her my father died, and then started crying for no reason. (It wasn't due to his death.)

Then I woke up, drenched in tears. Then I sat there for an hour and a half, crying my eyes out. Like hugggeeee tears. Like when something horrible happens. Like I had legitimately lost a loved one. After settling down, I went to sleep.

Then when I woke up the following morning, my grandfather died of a heart attack.


Can help but think it's not a coincidence.

Nothing. If you just think of random words without even going over them, you get a bunch of garbled non-sense. That's what dreams are basically, collections of experiences and emotions compressed into a single hallucinegic movie.


In other words, stop over-analysing everything. Life has no meaning, just go with the flow.

One time I had a dream when I went to bed with my closet door open and it sucked me up and locked me inside. When I woke up the door was closed as if something jwas already locked inside. 😱😱😱

I don't generally have dreams, but I'd have to agree with Boo and BJ. At least, the first parts of their respective arguments. Sorry that happened, tho; it sounds like an emotionally painful experience.

I remember once, in a dream I had in Decemeber, my family were on a car journey. Me and my sister kicked my brother out the car because we didn't have space for him. My brother got into another car and drove off the wrong way. I was getting scared that we were going to lose him. We turned back and found my brother dead inside his car. I then realised it was my fault.

The next morning I woke up, relieved...but it was the first time I actually cried about my bro. I stopped making fun of him from that point....but only lasted a few weeks b4 I went back to writing a short story, in my brother's perspective, called 'Diary of a Stupid Kid'.

I remember watching a documentary about dreams, and some of the scientists in the program were speculating that dreams are our brains simulating circumstances to "test" or practice our reactions to situations. Don't know how true that is (becuase really, dreams aren't always the most realistic), but I think it's a pretty interesting theory. It could have just been a coincidence that your grandfather died after your dream, but who knows, I don't think visions are out of the question.

It was especially spooky because the blood was hyper-realistic and there was a skeleton reflected in the mirror and when I looked to my bed my sekelton was in it.

There was this guy who wants had a dream that he was woken up in the middle of the night to his sister crying and banging on his bedroom door. He wouldn't open it, and told her to go back to bed. She just kept banging on the door until he went back to bed (in the dream) then woke up. (IRL).

The next morning, his sister told him she had a dream that night that she was being chased by a monster and was trying to get into his room, and started crying and banging on the door until he told her to go to bed.
