I'm not sure if you have heard of this or not, but you know many Scientists are researching how some deseases work, like cancer and alzeimers, so they can help find a cure. Well, you can help too. You can help by using your unused computer power, which benefits cancer research. This is called Folding@home. This is availible for Windows, Mac, Linux, and android.

Also, you can also help research with a team to help give points to that team, by entering a code.
