BirdJesus (2015-11-10 05:36:41)Hitler did nothing wrong, and pollution will get rid of the undesirables.

Nemesis (2015-11-10 05:38:17)Now I can't stop thinking of that video lol
PANZERFAUST (2015-11-10 05:44:24)Hitler was right in one way and wrong in another.
He was right to have committed suicide, and wrong to have not done it earlier.
Without the minions, the powers are useless. They coexist.

I miss you
PANZERFAUST (2015-11-10 06:18:25)^EXACTLY! THEY SHOULD CARE, BUT THEY DON'T. THAT'S EXACTLY MY MOTHER
(I'll remove the first half. That belongs in a different rant.)
I miss you
PANZERFAUST (2015-11-10 08:36:24)WRONG! The we are already seeing the begining of it!
All the ships sunk during the Second World War? Their oil tanks are bursting.
The waste from nuclear plants? That was stored in led tanks and buried. Those are starting to break.
China? JUST
I miss you
Alpaca (2015-11-10 11:28:22)Kid, most logical people don't buy a $500 phone. If they do, it's not really my problem.
Some people will spend $500-1000 on the newest most amazing iPhone phone and while I personally think that's quite dumb it's not really my problem either.
The same person may think it's stupid I spend $300 (well it was $240 refurbished..) on a console and $60 for a game.
Your priorities aren't others priorities. Plus spending too much on a cell phone has no relationship with pollution, wtf?

Crush42 (2015-11-10 12:38:12)That first sentence you wrote:
'I'll probably come across as an idiot--'
Lemme stop you right there; you did, even before you started this eyesore of a thread.

I truly am baffled. Not by this thread, the the unnecessary rude comments. Is there anything wrong about caring about pollution? Of course not. Sure, it may not affect you, but it could affect your grandchildren or later generations. But hey, you will never know these people and they'll never be useful to you, so who cares about them, right? Wrong. People in the past have worked hard to make the future, your present day, a lot better than it would have been. You should feel morally obligated to do the same for the people of the future. Hell, you shouldn't even need that reason. Why the selfish mentality?
OP did not insult anyone in this topic. He's just stating an opinion. Did you know that the purpose of the forums are for this?
Sam (2015-11-10 16:23:54)I can't believe it, the way you look sometimes
Like a trampled flag on a city street, oh yeah
And I don't want it, the things you're offering me
Symbolized bar code, quick ID, oh yeah
[Chorus:]
See I'm a 21st century digital boy
I don't know how to read but I've got a lot of toys
My daddy's a lazy middle class intellectual
My mommy's on Valium, so ineffectual
Ain't life a mystery?
I can't explain it, the things you're saying to me
It's going yayayayayayaya, oh yeah
[Chorus]
Tried to tell you about no control
But now I really don't know
And then you told me how bad you had to suffer
Is that really all you have to offer?
[Chorus]
[outro]
Cat's foot, iron claw
Neurosurgeon, scream for more
Innocence raped with napalm fire
Everything I want, I really need.
[fade out]
21st century schizoid boy
21st century video boy
21st century digital boy...
TheIronMadden (2015-11-10 18:39:24)The #1 reason for our pollution is the consumption of meat. Everyone should be required to go vegan or get put in a line in front of a firing squad.
You won't see me here, but you might find me if you look in the right places.

So, I'm hoping that it isn't just me who has noticed this, but... Our sense of priorities are totally
An example of this:
People will blow $500 on a phone, but don't flinch at the alarmingly high amount of pollution that they create.
Think about it. The materials are extracted from the ground [process 01], transported to a factory [process 02], refined [process 3], made into usable parts [process 4], assembled (this creates minimal pollution, so this step will not be counted), packaged [process 5, not including the steps taken to make, print, and shape the packaging], sold and shipped [process 6], and after a year or two, thrown away to wind up in a land fill.
[EDIT: I chose phones as one example. There are many more, but it's the one I chose.
Also, the reason why I put the price was to point out how much we value something that is actually harming us.]
