Considering i see so many people ask me "oi m7+1. wots touhou fam." And i try my hardest to give a explanation to everyone but in the end i just feel like saying "ayy lmao itz da secund seazun uf the anime knuwn az corey in da house" So i'm just gonna give a final explanation on here.

Touhou: Project is a Series of Vertical Bullet Games by a Lone Developer known as ZUN ( Otherwise known as team "Shanghai Alice" ). So far there are 15 Games (Not counting the extra games such as 14.5) in the series and they consist of usually a pretty good story line. The way the game works is pretty simple, Survive a onslaught of glowing balls and bullets (Known in the game as danmaku) And try to survive without getting hit. The gameplay itself its great but where this game truly peaks in is its Music Such as Example #1[/link] [link=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jJZA-O_B78] Example #2 The only downside is that they are performed on blaring mini trumpets but due to how good the composer is its easy to overlook. Now as i said about the gameplay before you try to dodge a onslaught of bullets, On the screen you are a little sprite trying to dodge the bullets. Upon getting hit you die, But you have 3 Lives and 3 Continues to compensate for the extreme difficulty. Here is a Photo of Gameplay.


During the course of the games you usually have a choice of one of two characters

Reimu Hakurei: Reimu Hakurei is one of the most Popular Touhou characters, In the game she is the shrine maiden of paradise and is often portrayed as finding the Incidents that take place as more of a annoyance than a real threat. Her job is to exterminate Youkai (Aka the majority of Inhabitents of Gensokyo the place they live in) She developed a new way to fight known as the Spell card system to where you have to make your opponent submit in battle without killing them.



Marisa Kirisame: Marisa is a self taught Human Magician whom is portrayed as Reimu's friend and rival in Canon and Fanon. Unlike Reimu she see's the incidents are more of a Challenge than a Annoyance.

If you want to play any of these games you can download them off here DoujinStyle I recommend starting with 6 As 1-5 Was made for PC 98 and unless you have a PC 98 Emulator they will be next to impossible to play.
