Help with bbcode and image upload in my forum

Hello,

I made a small online service for my high school friends to use. The main idea of the site is for friends of mine to go onto the forum and submit their homework answers to it, allowing others to view it if they desire to.

Theres just one problem, in the forum script I used (http://goo.gl/XE12oY) a user can only upload text, not an image.

I attempted to implant this image upload script (http://goo.gl/3HKR5m) and make the images viewable in the forum with jBBCode (http://jbbcode.com).

However due to my little knowledge on PHP I am having quite some trouble getting everything to work. If anyone on here is willing to help me with this, I would be more than happy to accept your help. Thank you!

^ I tried phpbb, but it was just too advanced and feature packed for the users, most requested something more simple
