I typically don't use my android for internet browsing, when I do, it works flawlessly. I do use Chrome for iOS, since I hate the iOS8 update to Safari, and my favorite mobile browser (Mercury) was also ruined by an update.

I had to uninstall updates because chrome kept freezing. Now it works fine, rarely any hiccups, but when there are, they are easy to fix

I honestly don't know what you mean by "Very annoying dinosaur". If you're referring to when you have no internet access, that isn't due to Chrome.
