The only Green Day song that could ever be considered a hit is "American Idiot", which came out in 2004.

You could possibly also consider "Wake Me Up When September Ends". That song is so depressing, I prefer American Idiot to WMUWSE because it's basically

" you america" emo song vs "sad about death and stuff" emo song

Both are good songs, but yeah.

Green Day has better songs than those 2 anyway but just saying.

I mean kinda like how the only Blink-182 songs you could consider hits are "I Miss You" and "All the Small Things", possibly but likely not (just popular but not a hit) "What's My Age Again".
