Nutsy (2015-06-04 17:26:26)I told my little sister that my Substitute Doll would eat her if she came into my room. She was two at the time.

My brother had been going through a rebellious phase lately. I babysit him every other day so I have to be in charge of him and my sister. My dad texts me to let me know what chores they have to do and I make sure they do them and I also have to break up fights between them every five minutes. Usually things go pretty smoothly, but lately my brother had been calling me names and screaming whenever I told him to do something. I didn't mind having to tell him to do something five times before he would listen the first few times, but then I realized that he wouldn't be toning it down anytime soon.
I decided to try punishing him by separating him from my sister when he got too aggressive and putting him in "time out" which proved to be effective at first. This only made him start being more and more edgy. When I tried telling him what his chores were at one point, he would flat out ignore me so I had to raise my voice to get him to pay attention. However, he had been getting more bold lately. He even tried physically attacking me.
Here is the part where I scare him;
One day, I told him to go to his room for hitting his sister, and he called me an idiot. I made him sit at the table and write down on a piece of paper "I am sorry for calling Brandon an idiot" 50 times. I know it sounds harsh, but if you let a kid keep the belief that he can get away with being disrespectful in his head, his behaviour will quickly escelate. He wrote down the sentence a few times, then stopped. I saw the face he made whenever he got mad and decided to start being edgy. Without even looking at me, he ripped up the paper and started stomping away, thinking he was about to go play on his tablet.
I slammed both my palms on the table and yelled at him loudly to get back over here and finish his work. I may have overdone it a little because he started crying and ran outside the house. He was standing infront of the garage door when I found him. I told him to go back inside and you can bet your rear end he listned. I made him do the whole paper again and I hung it up on the fridge.
little5 (2015-06-04 21:28:21)Am I the only one who kinda laughed at AC's post?
You should turn up his tablet's brightness, leave it on overnight, and steal the charger.

Have you ever scared them? I told my brother 2 years ago that zombies are real and they were coming to eat his face. He's 5 now and can't go into the dark by himself,he has to have someone go with him to the bathroom like stand by the door
Of course we all just leave instead of standing there
I believe I told him bloody Mary was real too
