Classical music?

Do any of you like classical music? I kinda do being a being a band nerd. My favorite peice is Bach's Tocetta and Fuge in D Minor.

I usually enjoy any classical piece I listen to, but I don't listen to it in my spare time. Tchaikovsky is a favorite. I play violin and want to learn cello so it'd be kinda weird to not like the type of music I play.

Of course classical music is the centerpiece of all music, and it should be respected. However, I think shunning modern music altogether is not something actual music fans should do, because we won't get anywhere unless we actually appreciate and support modern music that is actually good. There's good pop songs out there, but it's just something you need to actually look for.

And I'll state it again, classic rock isn't a real genre. It's pretty much a type of radio broadcasting that bunches rock music from different genres between an era of about 20-30 years. I also found that listening to "classic rock" on a constant basis became a bit monotonus, so I began listening to more extreme metal and newer rock bands as well to widen my horizon.

You won't see me here, but you might find me if you look in the right places.
