This is why you buy ambulances in packs of two. You take both of them with you instead of keeping one at home you don't have to travel in between.

Yes, I believe so. Let's use common sense here. The people in the ambulance wouldn't just say "oh, we ran someone over. Our first priority is the one who got hurt first, so let's just leave guy #2 on the cold hard ground for now and get back to him later.

They could get the second person as well. Or call for another ambulance. Now, go to the very beginning. An ambulance wouldn't just run over a person in first place.

Let's be more logical now. Most likely you'll hear the sirens before you even see the ambulance going down the road. That being said you have enough time to move out of the way. The ambulance doesn't appear out of freaking nowhere and just runs over a person.

And if you are crossing the road while they're right beside you, most likely they will stop and honk their horn.
