I sometimes think that the benefit outweighs the damage. Society just needs to hone in on how they're going to innovate rather than damage the youth. Or the youth themselves.
Lani (2015-01-12 17:17:30)Honestly, I don't think technology has much to do with our deterioration...in fact, I think it could possibly save us. It's so easy to access and share knowledge with the internet and even simulators....The problem is that no one wants to.
So many kids get everything handed to them on a plate, it seems no one wants to learn anymore because they think they don't need to. Then schools lower grade requirements so kids can stay dumb and pass their tests anyway.
So ultimately, I think the core issue of this generation is how most kids are being raised.
People are holding onto childhood for too long....we hardly teach children anything important and give them bare minimum responsibilities. We hold their hand their whole life until they turn 18, and then we kick them out the door and expect them to act like adults. Childhood should be the preparation for adulthood, not the time to live all our days carelessly until we run into the cold hard brick wall of reality where we'll scramble around in fear.
Not saying to throw your 10 year old on a plow and expect them to grow up right then and there, but why hold back on just teaching them the basics? Warm them up to the reality of adulthood...don't give them a countdown on how many days they have left until they can't possibly put it off any longer.

The ability prankster adds a priority boost to all status moves used by the bearer, allowing for stall teams to be mowed through with an almost ensured first attacking taunt. The ability is more prominently seen in Pokemon such as Klefki, a Pokemon with an abundance of useful status moves.
Another ability, Contrary, has recently been applied to Snivy as a hidden ability. This is great, as many powerful moves that would decrease the quick special attacker's stats would instead increase it's stats.
Oh, and humans are okay. I guess.
