So I recently got a linux laptop. I am going to try and get the coding started on Mythos. But I need a few recommendations on programs for coding/graphics/games/etc. to get my machine set up. Any ideas?

There's always Sublime Text, although if you get it free, you are pestered when writing... Not too often though, and the full version is even better. I really recomend you try it out. I'm guessing you're running ubuntu?
