serious tag
carlos11 (2014-10-19 00:36:45)The problem is our community. There's too many faggots who just won't listen and don't know how to use the forums and don't even know it.
Language is a tool for efficient communication. The internet is a tool for fast communication. Do not defy both intents by posting incoherent writing.
If it became a rule, they would know not to joke around in serious tagged forums. Sure, people would have to be warned a few times before they would learn the rule, but it will work out just like every other tine a new rule was made in the forums.
It's not like most of the community is incapable of learning. Sure, the way people speak about them make those who are new to the forums seems that way, but we should look at this from a less pessimistic perspective. Just give it time and everyone will become aware of this new rule if it is made
carlos11 (2014-10-19 04:33:01)Yeah, what new rules?

You know they thing reddit has when they put "[serious]" before or after the title and nobody is allowed to go off topics or joke around about the topic? 3dsplaza should have this as well.
One good reason to add this as a feature:
No admin will really have to add anything to the website. All he or she has to do is say "I'll allow it" and all mods will inforce this as a rule.
Another reason to add this;
There is no negative affect this could possibly have on the forums. If only good will come of it, is there any reason not to have this as a feature? Why would anyone object to this?
Let's say you post in the real life stories forum, asking everyone for advice for your problem, but you don't want a bunch of twelve year olds trying to crack "your mom" jokes or commenting just to say they don't care. Here's the solution:
Want everyone to take your thread seriously? If this becomes a rule, all you'll have to do is put [serious] in the title of your thread.
That is all
