Vocaloid?..
Nutsy (2014-10-12 23:33:12)It's made for people who want to make songs but either have zero singing skills or don't have enough money to contract a real singer.

carlos11 (2014-10-12 23:35:57)It's garbage. Don't bother looking into crapaloid.
Language is a tool for efficient communication. The internet is a tool for fast communication. Do not defy both intents by posting incoherent writing.
Tachikoma (2014-10-12 23:38:38)IT's how the producers use Vocaloid.
If they don't mix well, the voicebanks sound..god awful. not as bad as most UTAUloids though. I've heard some UTAU's sound better than Vocaloids before.
hello, navi

People who love anime enough, that's who. Also, in vocaloid songs, the 'singers' can hit extremely high and low notes that humans can't easily amd sing at speeds impossible for any human being (ex. The song "the disappearance of hatsune miku" ) thus, having the ability tk create any kind of song perfectly without any stuttering, ghasps, failure to reach a certain note, etc.
These vocaloids... They could potentially replace all human singers completely. Anyone could 'program' one to sing anything already done by another artist, but better. In 2014, of course these things called vocaloids are going to exist.
The only question I can't answer: Why do so many vocaloid songs suck?
Nutsy (2014-10-12 23:54:24)Because it's a bunch of fangirls making ass music.
I have some good songs if anybody wants to listen.

WWTEpicFail (2014-10-13 00:56:13)Because it's JAPANESE, that's why. (No racism here, just saying)
Because it's Anime-ish, that's why.
Because the music has lyrics nobody can understand, that's why.
Because it's all mixed, that's why.

In essence it's just a VST used to make songs. You input syllables and they play out like a voice. The characters are the different tones, so no actual singing is being done.
I don't listen to it.
