Well Zeus is the god king and god of the sky
Poseidon is the god of the sea
Hades is god of the underworld
Persephone is the goddess of flowers
Demeter is the goddess of agriculture
Hera is the goddess of family
Hermes is the god of thieves, merchants, messages, etc
Haphaestus is the god of the forge
Artemis is the goddess of the hunt and maidens
Apollo is the god of the sun and bachelors
Aphrodite is the goddess of love
Cupid is the god of love
Athena is the goddess of wisdom
Ares is the god of war
Dionysus is the god of wine

Some more gods and goddess I'm to lazy to name.

This is a creationist's point of view:

>Something happens
>God intended for it to happen
>Something exists
>Someone had to have made it, or else it doesn't make sense
>God made it

Answers will always be outnumbered by questions, therefore it is understandable that people will choose to find the easy way out, opting for faith rather than reason.

I know there are intellectuals among the religious folk, but this is just a generalization.
