Does the way you write differ from the way you speak?
In school/work and on Plaza?
Is it the same?

By rhetoric I mean your arrangement of words and phrases, how you compose what you want to say, and the tone you write/speak it in.

I tend to speak the same way that I write. Often fragmented and aloof, I've had peers tell me that I write how I speak. I don't really covey much emotion either way, so both of my habitual styles consist of more ethos(credibility) and logos(logic) than they do pathos(emotion).

Mine is the same.
I say Hallo in real life and here.
The way I write is 95% the same I speak.

I'm outstanding in both.
Language is a tool for efficient communication. The internet is a tool for fast communication. Do not defy both intents by posting incoherent writing.

It doesn't differ that much.

I speak the same as I write. When I'm happy or don't care, it's abstract, bubbly, and polite. When I'm in a bad mood, I'm terribly blunt or even harsh.

Are we all trying to piss Kishy off by responding with intentionally crappy answers that convey a lack of understanding of her question?

I hate Rhetoric. It sucks English class balls.

I doubt it.

I speak entirely different than how I write/type, but I want to change that..
SPCOxion (2014-09-28 05:29:43)
Vastly.

On the Internet, I usually talk about/share my coding work, or look for coding collaboration opportunities.

In real life? "lol look at this funny pic i took of my cat"
