Your son/daughter
little5 (2014-09-23 20:01:04)*you/your wife
Meh, I'd raise the child like it's my own. I wouldn't know, right? Most babies come out the same–jet black hair, peach/pink skin, and blue eyes. If I found out, then I'd have them run a DNA test for proof. We'd both probably end up keeping our kids.. I mean, imagine developing a bond with a child that you believed to be yours for YEARS. I'd still keep in contact with my child's mother, but I'd still consider the other woman's child my child.. If that makes sense.
We'd be like foster parents.

should I take requests?
Nutsy (2014-09-23 20:47:16)IA and I don't believe in birth control.
Our baby Alice will be more beautiful than the other babies because she gets her looks from her mother.
Actually, there's only a 1/4 chance that our children will have blonde hair or blue eyes.
Genetics and shiz.

Nutsy (2014-09-23 20:59:07)I wonder if I can find out what mine and IA's daughter would look like.
I'm sure I could. Punnet squares for visual phenotypes are easy.

Jason2k14 (2014-09-23 21:48:10)I was born black hair with brown eyes.

.~Feferi~. (2014-09-25 19:18:50)Mmmm, never would happen for me. Seeing as it would never be possible for two women to produce a baby.

There's no way you wouldn't tell the difference between your own baby and someone else's unless you're a really neglectful parent. Some parents can even distinct their own baby's cry. You'd know the little differences on your baby where their skin might be peeling or irritated...and realistically, not all babies don't look the same, anyway.
A mix up like this wouldn't happen in a hospital (before you have the chance to familiarize yourself with the baby) because they're extremely careful to make sure that doesn't happen in the first place.
Now, to solve the OP's dilemma....I'd give the infant to the unicorn gods in return for some skittles.

It's the future! the future, you receive your first son/daughter ( By doing stuff, but did you forget to use protection? ). What if your son/daughter gets taken away accidentally by a different mother that is not you and your wife's and you accidentally take that mother's baby home?
