What is your opinion on the music that is created today (That is shown on the radio, excluding Vocaloid and all that crap.)?
For me, I'm pretty disgusted on what they've done, none of the songs sound good, they are all just a load of crap.

I do listen to music other than Vocaloid. I quite enjoy the British band Bôa.

But I did come across them due to anime, so....

Pop music is made to sound good, rather than have intelligent lyrics. Most people don't realize how predictable the sounds have become though. For example, whenever the song does the thing where the frequency of a noise goes higher and higher then finally does the "base drop" is in every single song you hear in the radio now. It's pretty much dubstep with lyrics.


Then there's the artists who try to make a mix of classical music and pop, which never really sounds good at all.


BUT HERE'S SOME GOOD NEWS


That's only the pop genre. There are plenty of other genres of modern music that have non lazy lyrics and even sound good. You guys probably haven't found those genres yet because the only device you have to listen to music to is the radio in your parents car.

You have to look into progressive not well known stuff.

Because when it comes down to it, all of the stuff that you hear on the radio is only there because they paid for the spot.

I only really listen to Rock music because Wynaut.

These pop songs are really awful, like that Iggy fgt person or something.

Psychostick is my jam, so is Gorillaz, Linkin Park, etc.
